Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our IT team. The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.

Responsibilities

→Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and database systems
→Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
→Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing applications and systems
→Provide technical support and training to end users
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system functionality and performance
→Ensure data integrity, reliability, and system security
→Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in application development and systems analysis
Strong experience with SQL Server, database design, and query optimization
Experience with modern Windows-based and web-based application development such as C#, .NET, and Python.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
