Tooling Support Technician - 1st Shift (6:00am to 2:00pm)
US Conec is seeking a detail-oriented Tooling Support Technician to join our Fort Worth manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll perform in-press mold cleanings, minor maintenance, and support activities that ensure tooling components are clean, organized, and production-ready. You’ll work closely with the molding department and tool room to maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform in-press mold cleanings and minor mold maintenance
- →Use dry ice blaster to clean molds and tooling components
- →Follow procedures and protocols for tooling work orders and production priorities
- →Complete work orders with accurate documentation and timely execution
- →Communicate effectively with peers, operators, and leadership using standardized formats
- →Work from a priority schedule to complete mold cleanings, Slide PMs, and assigned maintenance tasks
- →Collaborate with the molding department to maintain a clean and safe production floor
- →Support tooling and molding operations on the floor and in the tool room as needed
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with injection molding processes
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Technical training or certification in mold maintenance
- Experience using dry ice blasters for cleaning molds and tooling
