Engineer - Data Analysis and Testing Engineer

The Engineer Data Analysis and Testing Engineer position is the intermediate level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees in the Engineer II position solve complex problems in engineering areas of specialization Design, Electrical, Material, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering with general supervision. An Engineer II is expected to develop advanced skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. An Engineer II effectively applies fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied.

• This role is on site in our Magnolia, Texas office 
• Full time, permanent position 

• →Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates
• →Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan
• →Faciltate coordination with manufacturers, inspectors, and fabricators
• →Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery
• →Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, internal and external stakeholders, etc.
• →Other work duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Actively pursuing FE and PE is preferred, minimum education is Bachelors
• Strong technical knowledge in applicable field Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering
• SolidWorks and Abaqus experience
• Familiarity with VBA and python scripts
• Strong report writing skills
• Experience facilitating coordination with manufacturers, inspectors, and fabricators
• Must be able to balance multiple projects at once
• Analytical/investigation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude

• Office environment with limited physical effort, continuous mental effort, and frequent complex requests for assistance in and out of a lab environment.
• Travel may be required.
• Endurance such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, or driving, and frequency/duration in which action is required.
