🚀 We're Hiring: Senior Tax Accountant (Remote | PH-Based)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join our remote team from the Philippines. In this role, you will take ownership of preparing and reviewing a full range of U.S. tax returns — including individual, partnership, and corporate filings — while ensuring accuracy and compliance with IRS regulations. You will leverage your deep knowledge of U.S. tax law to conduct research, identify planning opportunities, and provide mentorship to junior staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to grow within a dynamic, U.S.-based CPA firm while working remotely with flexibility and professional development support.
Job Details:
Work from home, reliable internet required
Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S)
• Ensure timely and accurate filings in compliance with IRS regulations
• Conduct tax research and apply findings to client scenarios
• Identify tax planning opportunities
• Review junior staff work and provide mentorship
• Communicate with U.S.-based clients and team members
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–8+ years of U.S. tax experience
• Experience working remotely with a U.S.-based CPA firm
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations
• Proficiency in tax software and Excel
• Preferred: Experience with Drake Tax software or other leading tax preparation platforms (e.g.,
Lacerte, ProSeries, UltraTax)
