We are looking for an Event & Internal Communications Specialist to join the Veepee Spain Communications team on a temporary basis.
The selected candidate will collaborate with the existing Communications team and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering both internal corporate events and events aimed at brand partners, while also contributing to the development of internal communications through editorial content creation and management of key corporate communication channels.
We are looking for a professional with solid experience in corporate event management, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and outstanding writing abilities. The ideal candidate is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring an excellent employee experience.
Corporate Events
Plan, organize, and coordinate internal corporate events from concept to execution (All Staff meetings, company events, team building activities, workshops, B2B events).
Manage the full event lifecycle, ensuring quality, punctuality, and adherence to budget.
Develop event concepts in collaboration with the local and Group Communications teams and relevant stakeholders.
Source venues, suppliers, and partners, negotiating optimal commercial and qualitative conditions.
Coordinate catering, set-up, production, audiovisuals, merchandising, logistics, and transportation.
Prepare budgets, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with allocated resources.
Develop retro-planning schedules, operational checklists, and organizational documentation.
Coordinate internal stakeholders (HR, Facilities, Leadership, international teams) and external partners (agencies and suppliers).
Oversee all operational phases of events, managing any issues swiftly and effectively.
Conduct post-event analysis by collecting feedback, KPIs, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Monitor trends, new formats, and best practices in corporate events.
Internal Communications
Write editorial content for various internal communication channels.
Draft corporate communications, newsletters, intranet articles, announcements, management messages, and presentations.
Manage the editorial plan and internal communication calendar.
Publish content using internal communication tools (emailing platforms, intranet, collaborative tools, etc.).
Ensure editorial consistency, content quality, and alignment with the corporate tone of voice.
Adapt and localize international communication campaigns for the Spanish market.
Support internal engagement and employer branding initiatives through dedicated content and storytelling.
Collaborate with different departments to highlight projects, people, and corporate initiatives.
Communications Team Support
Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation supporting the Communications department.
Manage and update supplier and contact databases.
Support additional corporate communication projects.
Collaborate with international teams to ensure alignment between local initiatives and Group strategy.
Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fields.
3–4 years of experience in corporate event management within event agencies, communication agencies, or an in-house Communications & Events department.
Proven ability to independently manage events from concept to execution.
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate stakeholders and suppliers.
Strong writing and proofreading skills, with experience in editorial content and corporate communications.
Interest in internal communication tools, newsletter platforms, intranets, and collaborative tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Good knowledge of Canva or similar tools for content creation.
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools applied to communication, productivity, and content creation is a plus.
Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory); French is a plus.
