We are looking for an Civil, Structural and Architectural to join our growing team in Letterkenny. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative modular infrastructure projects supporting the Data Centre and Telecom sectors, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver customised, high-quality solutions for customers across the globe.
About the Role
As an Civil, Structural and Architectural, you will be responsible for the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) aspects of modular building projects, supporting the design, manufacture, installation, and delivery of customised solutions. Working closely with mechanical, electrical, fire protection, manufacturing, and project teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, from concept design and construction documentation through factory manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of construction documentation and detailed design packages.
- Prepare bills of quantities for factory and site execution activities.
- Design and specify secondary steel structures, including platforms, supports, bases, roof elements, and sheet metal components.
- Produce manufacturing and fabrication documentation.
- Provide engineering oversight during steel structure production.
- Support factory assembly, testing, and module integration activities.
- Review designs for constructability and provide technical feedback to project teams.
- Collaborate with project management, sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, testing, and construction teams to deliver projects successfully.
- Manage construction administration activities including:
- As-built documentation
- Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures
- Installation manuals
- Punch list support and close-out
- Develop bills of materials and service requirements for project execution.
- Provide technical support during project delivery and post-installation phases.
- Contribute to customer presentations, quotations, and pre-sales activities.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and delivery targets.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar engineering or construction role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of construction documentation, steel structures, and engineering design principles.
- English language proficiency (minimum B2 level).
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
Desirable
- Experience using Revit and/or Autodesk Inventor.
- Experience in modular construction, data centres, telecom infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting construction administration and site activities.
