Implementation & Lifecycle Service Offering Lead
Quick Summary
The Implementation & Lifecycle Service Offering Lead (Thermal Chain) owns Vertiv’s thermal services and NPDI strategy — including the liquid cooling and high-density portfolio.
The Implementation & Lifecycle Service Offering Lead (Thermal Chain) owns Vertiv’s thermal services and NPDI strategy — including the liquid cooling and high-density portfolio. This is a critical growth area driven by the explosive demand from AI data centres and high-density compute environments, requiring dedicated end-to-end ownership to move faster than the market.
You’ll own the thermal service offering evolution from conceptualization through deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement, driving adoption and technical acceleration so that thermal solutions are firmly embedded into customer operations. You’ll shape the NPDI pipeline, set pricing strategy, monitor market signals, and coordinate across the Power Train Lead and key stakeholders to deliver a coherent, growth-ready thermal portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Thermal Services Portfolio Strategy
- Own the thermal and liquid cooling offering portfolio, maintaining market-readiness across all lifecycle stages from conceptualization to optimization stages
- Drive, own, and execute on thermal NPDI strategy across the region, identifying new service opportunities aligned to AI data centre and high-density compute growth
- Maintain the thermal service offering portfolio roadmap, incorporating market trends, customer feedback, and competitive signals into a forward-looking plan
- Lead liquid cooling and high-density service development and enablement, from initial concept through commercial launch and post-deployment improvement
Commercial Strategy & Pricing
- Support the Portfolio Strategy Lead in executing commercial strategy by providing thermal-specific pricing inputs, deal structures, and margin data
- Contribute to the development of pricing frameworks and commercial policies by supplying technical and service-related market intelligence from the thermal product line
- Align with the Portfolio Strategy Lead and Implementation Leads to protect pricing consistency and margin integrity across thermal service offerings
- Participate in annual pricing reviews by delivering thermal market conditions, competitive benchmarking, and cost-to-serve data
Adoption & Technical Acceleration
- Own adoption and technical acceleration programs (training) for thermal solutions, working alongside Academy and Marketing to drive customer uptake
- Develop training materials, playbooks, and enablement assets that equip field teams and customers to deploy and maximize thermal solutions effectively
- Drive customer adoption metrics and market growth programs, tracking the degree to which thermal solutions are embedded and operationally relied upon
- Lead technical acceleration initiatives for emerging thermal technologies, shortening the time from innovation to scaled customer deployment
Market Intelligence & VoC
- Gather structured Voice of Customer feedback through customer visits, site assessments, deployments, and industry conferences, translating field and customer signals into actionable portfolio decisions and market analysis inputs
- Monitor thermal market trends including AI workload growth, liquid cooling adoption curves, and high-density demand signals to maintain strategic relevance
- Identify competitive threats and opportunities within the thermal services landscape, surfacing insights that sharpen Vertiv’s positioning and offering differentiation
- Report thermal portfolio performance to leadership through regular insight briefs, covering pipeline health, adoption metrics, and strategic recommendations
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with the Power Train Lead on integrated lifecycle strategies that span both thermal and power domains, avoiding duplication and maximizing synergy
- Partner with AE – THM Services on technical delivery quality, solution design inputs, and RFP support to maintain high standards in customer-facing engagements
- Collaborate with the Strategic Analyst on thermal business cases, performance insights, and feedback loops that inform portfolio evolution and NPDI prioritization
- Manage structured handoffs between conceptualization, deployment, and continuous improvement phases, keeping cross-functional contributors aligned throughout the lifecycle
Key Outputs
- Thermal implementation & lifecycle service offering roadmap
- Offering portfolio documentation (thermal and liquid cooling)
- NPDI execution, ownership, and documentation
- Adoption acceleration metrics, performance reports, and training
- Technical enablement materials (training assets, playbooks, configuration guides)
- Pricing frameworks and configurator inputs
- Market insight briefs (thermal-specific, including AI/LC demand signals)
- VoC feedback reports and portfolio recommendations
- Cross-domain coordination plans with Power Train Lead and Portfolio Strategy Lead
