Adjunct Faculty - Undergraduate, School of Nursing

The VCU School of Nursing is recruiting a pool of applicants for adjunct teaching positions. This limited adjunct appointment will be offered on a semester-by-semester basis and is subject to renewal.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Master’s degree in nursing
- Unencumbered license in Virginia as a Registered Nurse, or eligible to practice in Virginia by an unencumbered Compact State license
- Experience in a practice role (at least 2 years of direct patient care.)
- Evidence of effectiveness in collaboration and communication
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in teaching at the baccalaureate or higher level
- Experience with simulation instruction
- Doctoral Degree in nursing or related field
- Certification in an area of specialty in nursing
