Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Read and interpret mechanical/HVAC construction drawings and blueprints
- →Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for sheet metal, ductwork, and associated piping systems
- →Capture granular scope items including air outlets, fire/smoke dampers, and other mechanical components
- →Produce accurate material quantities to support estimating and bidding efforts
- →Manage takeoffs across multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency and completeness
- →Ensure no gaps or missed items in scope coverage
Requirements
~1 min read- Proven experience performing mechanical/HVAC takeoffs
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical construction drawings
- High attention to detail, particularly in quantity accuracy and scope completeness
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple takeoff assignments independently
- Experience in estimating/takeoff software (Trimble, Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.)
- Procore or similar project management platforms
