Volunteer Recovery Support

Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Do you want to help create a safer, more supportive environment for people affected by drug use? Join Change Grow Live as a Recovery Support Volunteer.

• →Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors with warmth and respect.
• →Support our recovery coordinators in delivering harm reduction interventions around drug, alcohol and substance use
• →Provide non-judgmental advice on safer use, including reduction and drink down plans
• →Complete Breathalyzer testing, urine drug screening and recording results
• →Completing BBV testing
• →Provide information to our service users of mutual aid support groups i.e. AA, SMART recovery groups
• →Supporting our service users in attending nurse alcohol assessments and healthcare reviews
• →Supporting the team in case management, recording notes on our case management system
• →Supporting our service users in meeting their support plans, working towards their future goals and aspirations

• Full training and ongoing support
• Experience in a fast-paced, meaningful role
