Hastings Clinic | Full Time

Vet Services Hawke’s Bay is looking for an organised, professional and customer-focused person to join our Hastings Clinic team.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you’ll provide outstanding customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy clinic.

This role would suit someone with experience in customer service, sales, reception, administration or office coordination who enjoys working with people, is confident managing competing priorities and takes pride in getting things done.

Hours

• Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm
• Shared weekend roster (currently 1 in 6 weekends, 9:00am–1:00pm)
• Day Off After Duty (DOAD) following a weekend shift

Key Responsibilities

• Managing appointments, calls, emails and client enquiries
• Delivering excellent customer service to clients and their pets
• Processing payments, invoicing and general administration
• Supporting retail sales, stock and client education
• Coordinating daily activities to help keep the clinic running efficiently

About You

• Experience in customer service, sales, reception, administration or a similar role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Well organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
• Confident using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
• Professional, positive and proactive approach
• Enjoys working as part of a busy, collaborative team
