Software Developer II - Mobile

We’re looking for a Mobile Developer with 3–5 years of experience to build and improve Wati’s mobile applications, primarily using Flutter and Dart. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver reliable, intuitive experiences across iOS and Android.

We welcome candidates with strong native or hybrid/cross-platform development experience who are willing to work primarily with Flutter. Native iOS experience and a track record of contributing to measurable business growth are strong advantages.

Our engineering team uses AI coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code in daily development, combining their capabilities with sound engineering judgment and ownership of code quality.

What you will do

• Build and maintain Wati’s mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart.
• Own features from technical design through testing, release, and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver intuitive experiences that improve customer engagement and business growth.
• Use AI coding tools to support implementation, debugging, testing, and refactoring.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and code quality through testing and code reviews.

• 3–5 years of professional mobile development experience, including delivering production applications.
• Flutter and Dart experience preferred; strong native or hybrid/cross-platform developers willing to work with Flutter are also welcome.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture, state management, API integration, and application lifecycle.
• Experience with testing, debugging, Git, and mobile release workflows.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools, with the ability to review and validate generated code and take ownership of its quality.
• Ability to own features independently, collaborate effectively, and write clean, maintainable code.

Nice-to-have

• Native iOS development experience with Swift or Objective-C, especially integrating native capabilities into Flutter.
• A track record of contributing to business growth through improvements in activation, engagement, retention, or conversion.
• Experience with real-time messaging, B2B SaaS, or customer engagement products.
• Experience improving team development workflows with AI tools, reusable instructions, or automation.
• Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation, or mobile CI/CD.
