Signage Production/Installation

Those operating in the capacity of “Signage Production/Installation” shall:

•

  Maintain a high level of quality and productivity in a fast paced, multi-faceted signage and large format print production facility

As well, the Signage Production/Installation staff member should:

• 
  Have a solid understanding of signage production materials and processes, including:
  • 
    Cut vinyl
  • 
    Print vinyl
  • 
    Solid substrates
  • 
    Laminates
  • 
    Illuminated sign systems
  • 
    Pros and cons of different methods and products for different environments
  • 
    A variety of installation methods, including:
    • 
      Exterior vinyl applications (windows, doors, walls)
      
    • Interior applications (wall wraps, etch, d/s tape)
    • Installation hardware (standoffs, screw caps, adhesive tapes/velcro, french cleats)
    • vehicle applications
  • 
    Have at least 3 years experience in production and/or installation of signage
  • 
    Have a working knowledge of the safe operation of basic shop tools (table saw, chop saw, power hand tools, etc.)

Bonus, but not necessary:

• 
  Operational knowledge of laminator, roll to roll printers, CNC machine and vinyl cutter
• 
  Knowledge and/or experience of design software
