Requirements

6-12 months related welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret fabrication instructions, diagrams, and welding procedure specifications
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
Experience with oxy-fuel cutting and grinding
Knowledge of Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) regulations
Forklift and Overhead Crane Safety certification
Familiarity with WHMIS and other safety standards
