About You:

About this Role:
- As Head of Marketing, you will own and lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for WeLab Bank, driving customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value while elevating our brand as the most trusted and innovative digital bank in Hong Kong
- You will be a visible strategic leader—partnering closely with the C-suite, product, growth, risk, and customer experience teams—to translate business objectives into powerful, data-informed marketing strategies that deliver measurable growth and a best-in-class customer experience
- This is a high-impact role for a creative, resourceful, and commercially minded marketing leader who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and is passionate about building a world-class marketing function from the ground up
What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role
- Own the development and execution of WeLab Bank’s integrated marketing strategy across brand, performance, digital, and customer marketing
- Translate business goals into clear marketing objectives, KPIs, and roadmaps that drive customer growth, engagement, retention, and lifetime value
- Ensure flawless execution of marketing plans while maintaining agility to adapt to market shifts and emerging opportunities
- Conceptualize and lead high-impact, data-driven campaigns across online and offline channels (social, digital, performance, content, events, partnerships, etc.)
- Build compelling narratives and creative assets that differentiate WeLab Bank and resonate with Hong Kong’s diverse customer segments
- Collaborate closely with product, growth, risk, and customer experience teams to uncover customer insights and translate them into marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products
- Play a key role in go-to-market planning for new product launches, feature enhancements, and strategic initiatives
- Identify, establish, and manage new marketing channels and partnership programs (e.g., fintech partnerships, lifestyle ecosystems, co-branded initiatives)
- Work with external stakeholders—including agencies, media partners, influencers, and strategic partners—to amplify reach and achieve business goals
- Develop long-term partnership strategies that drive sustainable growth and brand equity
- Use data, analytics, and customer insights to optimize campaign performance, channel mix, messaging, and creative
- Build marketing analytics capabilities and dashboards to track ROI, customer acquisition cost, retention, and lifetime value
- Build, lead, motivate, and coach a high-performing marketing team with a strong ownership culture
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across channels, campaigns, and initiatives
- Stay up to date with emerging marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, and drive innovation and evolution within the marketing function
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and drive a cohesive customer experience
What is required and what we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of marketing experience, preferably in retail banking
- Proven leadership skills and a track record of success in marketing
- Strong execution skills paired with a sharp analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making
- Familiarity with innovative marketing tools, platforms, and approaches (e.g., marketing automation, CDPs, analytics tools, AI-driven marketing)
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies and clear business impact
- Strong team orientation and collaborative style, with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with hands-on involvement
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (preferred) with excellent written and verbal communication skills
