About You:

What you’ll do and what success looks like:
- Trade Order Management & Settlement: Monitor and manage trade orders for HK and US stocks, ensuring accurate and timely settlement. Keep a close eye on fails and proactively follow up on trade breaks.
- Corporate Actions: Process corporate actions (dividends, distributions, splits, mergers, rights issues, etc.) meticulously to ensure accurate position records and timely distributions.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations of trade activities, cash and position balances, broker statements, and internal records across multiple asset classes. Quickly identify and escalate any discrepancies to the supervisor for prompt resolution.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of our operational services and present innovative suggestions to the team.
- Project Support & Testing: Provide hands-on support for ad-hoc projects and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for various system enhancements related to wealth management operations.
- Compliance Support: Ensure strict adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies to safeguard our operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date documentation of all operational activities.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in securities trading or wealth management operations. (Highly motivated fresh graduates or candidates with less experience will also be considered).
- Experience in handling Mutual Funds is highly desirable and considered a strong plus. Exposure to virtual assets is also advantageous.
- Understanding of market settlement practices and margin financing.
- Hands-on experience with Bloomberg, CMU, CCASS, or other settlement systems is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the rules and regulations of the SFC and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- A true team player who is flexible, independent, and comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic working environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
