Part Time Nanny – New York, NY

A family in New York, NY 10037 seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced part-time nanny to care for their 2 year old son. The candidate should genuinely enjoy engaging with toddlers, fostering their developmental growth, maintaining consistent routines, and treating their child with gentle affection while prioritizing safety.

• Monday through Friday: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM 

• Smoke-free home
• No pets in the household
• Values an active, engaging caregiver who keeps personal phone use away during care hours, except for emergencies or sharing updates/photos with parent
• Emphasizes open, consistent communication and a collaborative approach to the toddler's daily routine

• →Provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care for a toddler transitioning into preschool routines
• →Handle daily afternoon pickup from preschool at 1:00 PM
• →Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities, including outdoor time, visits to local parks/playgrounds, crafts, reading, and interactive learning
• →Prepare and serve simple meals and snacks for the child
• →Perform child-related household tasks, including cleaning up after meals and activities, and handling the child’s laundry
• →Support a calm wind-down routine at the end of the afternoon
• →Provide daily verbal handoff updates to parent along with occasional photo/video updates during the day

• Proven experience caring for toddlers and managing early childhood routines
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification promptly upon hire)
• Mindful and intentional approach to active caregiving with limited personal device use
• Strong communication, reliability, and punctuality

• Background in early childhood development or experience helping toddlers adjust to preschool transitions
