Recognizes and evaluates sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards ## Resumo desta função We are looking for a buyer for the Indirect Procurement function within GSS's Global Strategic Sourcing team to serve Whirlpool's IT, Outsourcing and Consulting categories, supporting LAR Brazil and reporting to a local manager. The position is available in São Paulo or Joinville. The buyer will collaborate closely with other departments, such as manufacturing, engineering, finance, and legal, to understand requirements and make informed purchasing decisions. Additionally, this role may involve maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring market trends, and implementing cost reduction initiatives. ## Suas responsabilidades incluirão * Negotiate commercial terms such as price, payment terms, delivery time and schedule with suppliers mapped and technically approved * Drive strategy in your space considering main KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, etc) * Scout new suppliers for assure minimum 3 suppliers in all quotations * Prepare and manage RFQs thru GS3 Quotation Portal * Negotiate clauses to sign Contracts with suppliers having support of Legal Team * Drive and implement cost reduction strategies * Make presentations to higher level leadership * Support EHS and Facilities team by being main commercial contact with suppliers * Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the corporate, suppliers and factory levels to execute sourcing strategies * Accountable for developing & executing a Category Sourcing Strategy plan with price target on the negotiations. ## Requisitos mínimos * Complete Bachelor’s Degree * Excellent English and Spanish skills (both written and spoken). * Demonstrated analytical skills * Communication Skills to intermediate commercial discussions and mediate divergences * Experience in procurement, supply chain or business * Negotiation, conflict resolution and management skills * Cost management skills * Experience in Indirect Procurement ## Habilidades e experiências desejáveis * Business Experience * Demonstrate practical application of supplier management and sourcing principles * Manage and prioritize multiple activities * Financial Management and Forecasting * Self-directed approach to deliveries and good teamwork * Knowledge of SAP * Knowledge of key Microsoft Office/Google tools * Technical Background * Build strong relationships with internal process partners and suppliers * Motivated individual with the vision and work ethic necessary for future growth ## O que oferecemos [ACTION REQUIRED - DO NOT POST AS IS]Describe the benefits and/or advantages of working in that particular location, such as core benefits, vacation days, home office days, on-site daycare, work environment, etc Conecte-se conosco e saiba mais sobre a Whirlpool Corporation Veja como é trabalhar na Whirlpool visitando o site Whirlpool Careers.
