Keep the workshops ready. Support practical learning. Help students build automotive skills with confidence.
Good practical learning starts with a workshop that is safe, organised and ready.
Tools need to be in the right place. Equipment needs to work. Vehicles and resources need to be prepared. Students need clear standards, and lecturers need reliable technical support so practical sessions run smoothly.
As our Motor Vehicle Technician, you’ll help make that happen.
You’ll support the delivery of Motor Vehicle provision, working in industry-standard workshops and helping students develop safe, confident and professional workshop habits. You’ll prepare equipment, maintain resources, support lecturers and supervise learners in workshop areas when required.
This role is ideal for someone with motor vehicle experience who enjoys practical work and wants to support the next generation of automotive technicians.
You do not need to be a lecturer. You do need to understand how a good workshop should run, take health and safety seriously and be confident helping students work safely and professionally.
