We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead our new Data Platform squad. This is a strategic role focused on building and evolving a modern, scalable data platform that enables data-informed decisions, product innovation, and operational intelligence across our business and customer ecosystem. This is a senior individual contributor role with broad scope and influence, giving you the chance to make a massive impact.

You'll report to the Head of Product and work as a key player within our Product Management function. You'll work closely with engineers, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders, ensuring the platform meets both internal and external needs. Relationships are key here—you'll be the one to align diverse teams and needs around a single, powerful data strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform, focusing on high-impact and scalable outcomes.
  • Drive the creation of a modern data lakehouse architecture and establish a data mesh model for decentralized data ownership.
  • Deliver real-time streaming capabilities that support near-instant analytics and next-generation IoT use cases.
  • Partner with data consumers across the business to prioritize data needs and ensure data accessibility, quality, and usability.
  • Own and evolve key platform capabilities like secure data storage, data governance, BI tooling, and ML-ready data pipelines.
  • Specific experience: Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Product Manager or Principal Product Manager working on data platforms, analytics infrastructure, or developer-facing data tooling.
  • Sector knowledge: Deep understanding of data lakehouse architecture, data mesh models, and real-time streaming technologies.
  • Bonus Skills: Technical fluency in technologies like Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and Kafka.
  • Behaviours: Strong product discovery and outcome-thinking skills, with the ability to balance long-term investments with short-term delivery.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in an empowered product team and collaborating with data scientists, data engineers, and analytics teams to create business value.
  • A resourceful and pragmatic approach with a bias towards delivery and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse needs around a common strategy.
  • The ability to stay calm and collected under pressure.
  • A collaborative or leadership style that gets the best out of others.
  • Help coach and support product peers in modern data platform and analytics product practices.
  • A positive, can-do attitude that’s infectious.
  • Be a brand ambassador for our business!
