We're hiring an Accountant with at least 2 years' Australian public practice experience to join our Mackay team.

• →Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• →Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards
• →Communicate directly with clients and build strong relationships
• →Manage your allocated work and deadlines
• →Work alongside junior accountants who support your workload
• →Review supporting work and provide guidance where required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting
• Strong technical knowledge across tax and financial reporting
• Enjoys being client-facing, confident dealing directly with clients and technically sound
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software Xero 
• HandiTax experience advantageous
• Karbon workflow experience is advantageous
• High level of integrity and professionalism
