What We Offer
~1 min readWe're growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong grasp of Australian taxation to join our team.
The ideal candidate manages their own workload, produces high-quality output, and communicates proactively with the onshore team.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Independently process electronic data and journal entries across all client sizes; prepare complete working papers and reconciliations with no guidance required.
- →Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, and tax planning
- →Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSFs (training provided if required)
- →Ensure all client work is accurate, compliant, and meets Australian tax law requirements
- →Respond to client queries via email or client portal under production manager oversight. Draft responses for production manager review on more complex matters.
- →Manage ATO client correspondence and queries
- →Attend to routine corporate secretarial requirements independently, including review of ASIC notifications, minutes, and resolutions.
- →Conduct tax research, stay updated on legislation, and anticipate changes
- →Prepare tax planning schedules and supporting analysis for manager/partner review
If you are an outgoing, confident communicator, love numbers, and are proactive, this role is perfect for you!
- At least 4 years of experience in Australian public practice accounting, with a focus on tax and financial statement preparation
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A genuine interest in building efficiencies and challenging the status quo
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to ask questions
- Xero, BGL 360, MYOB, QBO
