Intermediate Accountant | Justin Trotter & Associates

We're a growing Australian public practice firm looking for a detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant based in the Philippines to join our remote team on a permanent basis.

You'll work under the guidance of our Senior Accountant and Production Manager, handling a varied portfolio of client work across tax, compliance, and financial reporting.

• →Prepare financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards
• →Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs using Xero Tax
• →Process and reconcile SMSF data in BGL360, preparing workpapers and reports for external audit
• →Prepare BAS, year-end financials, and support general compliance work
• →Assist with Estate Tax Return preparation
• →Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• →Stay current with Australian tax legislation and accounting standards

• At least 3 years of experience in Australian public practice accounting
• Proficiency in Xero (Tax and Practice Manager)
• Hands-on experience with BGL360 for SMSF work
• Solid understanding of Australian tax compliance
• Strong English communication skills
• Able to manage multiple client files and deadlines independently
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Experience with Estate Tax Returns is a bonus
