Job Title:	Student Employment: Special Olympics CT Health and Wellness Assistant
Department:	Office of Community Service
Student Employment Type:	Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:	• Identify local health and wellness opportunities for athletes, families and caregivers • Create and manage weekly Wellness Wednesday posts for Facebook • Engage in the planning and implementation of Healthy Athletes screening(s) at Summer Games • Assist with Healthy Athletes data collection, entry, and analysis 350 • Provide support to the Athlete Health Leader • Assist in the planning and implementation of the Athlete and Family Health Team • Provide support to the Health & Wellness Department
Qualifications:	Good interpersonal skills Be committed to the philosophy, needs and rewards of working with Special Olympics Be enthusiastic and outgoing Have excellent organizational, writing and communication skills Be experienced using Excel, Word, Publisher and PowerPoint Be able to work some nights and weekends if required
Hours of Position:	6-8 hours per week M-F 9-5pm
