What you'll be doing:

  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with internal stakeholders, external tax advisors and the tax authorities.
  • Management of the annual tax return cycle for the German income tax group, including coordination with the local finance teams and external tax advisors to ensure the timely submission of returns.

  • Cooperation with the Transfer Pricing Team in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
  • Close cooperation with external advisors and WPP's internal M&A and legal teams to structure transactions.

  • Strong economic understanding as well as strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Very good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work as part of a cross-functional global team.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
