We are seeking a proactive Data Analyst with a strong econometrics background to join our Data & Analytics team. In this key position, you will collaborate directly with our U.S. team, responsible for applying and developing advanced econometric models. Your primary objective will be to analyze the impact of economic, external, and media factors on the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) of our most strategic clients, who operate across diverse industries such as tech, retail, and services. This role is essential for converting complex data into actionable insights that inform and optimize our clients' media and business strategies.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, your duties will include:

  • Data Processing and Management: Process, clean, and structure large volumes of client data using SQL Standard on the Google BigQuery platform, ensuring data quality and availability for analysis.
  • Advanced Econometric Modeling: Conduct monthly estimations of the contribution of Paid Media variables and other factors (economic, external) to client KPIs, utilizing R as the primary tool for model development.
  • Media Optimization (Marketing Mix Modeling - MMM): Develop and apply MMM models using R and internal company platforms to optimize clients' media portfolios.
  • Insights Analysis and Added Value: Provide in-depth analysis of the "Fast MMM" process each month, identifying key business decisions and delivering added value through actionable insights for media strategy.
  • Strategic Results Presentation: Create and present clear and concise modeling results to clients and agencies, leveraging data visualization tools to highlight key findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Dashboard Input Generation: Deliver model outputs and files for use in the creation and updating of data visualization dashboards on platforms such as BigQuery and Tableau.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: University degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields with a strong quantitative component.
  • Professional Experience: 0 to 1 year of demonstrable experience in applying econometric models.
  • Solid Technical Knowledge:
  • Advanced proficiency in R for statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Knowledge and experience in Python.
  • Mastery of SQL for database manipulation and querying.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Languages: Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1 level or higher), as you will work directly with U.S. teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to approach complex problems, break down data, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Detail-Oriented: High precision and rigor in data handling and model development.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical results to diverse audiences (internal and clients).
  • Proactivity and Continuous Learning: Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies, along with the ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative environment.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and remote teams.
