We are currently looking for a Business Director to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for leading integrated media planning and strategy across both traditional and digital channels for a portfolio of leading brands. You will work closely with clients, media partners, and internal teams to develop data-driven communication strategies, drive business growth, manage senior stakeholder relationships, oversee campaign performance, and ensure the delivery of innovative media solutions that achieve client objectives while mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

  • Develop expertise in agency planning frameworks, tools, and processes.

  • Lead planning discussions and contribute to strategic recommendations.
  • Independently lead annual and campaign planning for assigned clients.
  • Deliver integrated media strategies aligned with client business objectives.
  • Drive collaboration across investment, digital, content, and analytics teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Be recognized as a trusted strategic advisor by clients.
  • Lead high-value business pitches and contribute to new business growth.
  • Develop long-term media strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop planning team members while strengthening planning excellence across the agency.
  • Lead strategic media planning across assigned client portfolios.
  • Develop annual communication strategies and media frameworks.
  • Ensure all media recommendations are grounded in consumer, market, and business insights.
  • Collaborate with investment, digital, performance, content, and analytics teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Present media strategies, plans, and campaign performance reviews to clients.
  • Drive innovation through emerging media channels, technology, and data capabilities.
  • Oversee campaign planning, execution, optimization, and post-campaign evaluation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and allocation of media investments.
  • Ensure planning quality, accuracy, and adherence to agency best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media owners, and strategic partners.
  • Support business development initiatives, client retention, and revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing media planning team.
  • Drive planning excellence and continuous improvement across agency processes.
  • Deliver regular business reviews and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent client servicing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of media planning, consumer insights, and marketing strategy.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10–12 years of experience in media planning, communications planning, or integrated marketing within a leading media agency.
  • Proven experience managing large client portfolios and leading planning teams.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional, digital, performance, and emerging media channels.
  • Experience presenting to senior client stakeholders and leading strategic planning initiatives.
