We are looking for an experienced OOH Media Manager to lead the planning, buying and execution of Out-of-Home (OOH) and Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) campaigns across Malaysia.
This role will be responsible for delivering high-impact, data-informed OOH strategies, working closely with clients, internal planning teams and media owners to ensure effective and innovative campaign execution.
You will play a key role in driving both brand visibility and business outcomes through strategic OOH deployments, while ensuring operational excellence across campaign delivery.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Develop and execute OOH and DOOH media strategies aligned with client objectives (brand awareness, launches, tactical campaigns)
- Translate client briefs into effective OOH plans including site selection, format mix, audience coverage and budget allocation
- Identify innovative OOH opportunities (e.g. transit dominance, experiential, programmatic DOOH) to enhance campaign impact
- Manage end-to-end campaign lifecycle including planning, booking, artwork coordination, deployment and monitoring
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with agreed KPIs
- Maintain high standards in campaign QA, documentation and reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners and vendors across Malaysia
- Lead negotiations on rates, placements and added-value opportunities to maximise ROI
- Stay updated on inventory availability, market trends and new formats within OOH landscape
- Serve as key point of contact for clients on OOH campaigns
- Present proposals, performance updates and post-campaign analysis to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (planning, digital, creative, activation) to ensure integrated campaign delivery
- Monitor campaign performance and provide post-campaign insights and learnings
- Analyse effectiveness of OOH placements using available tools and data sources
- Recommend optimisation strategies for future campaigns
- Support junior team members and guide execution quality where required
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and delivery standards
- Contribute to new business pitches and strategic planning initiatives
- 4–7 years of experience in media planning, with strong exposure to OOH/DOOH
- Proven experience managing OOH campaigns end-to-end (planning to execution)
- Strong understanding of Malaysia OOH landscape, media owners and inventory
- Experience in vendor negotiation and budget management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Familiarity with campaign measurement tools and reporting frameworks
