About the Role
~1 min readWrike is looking for a Payroll Analyst to support our payroll processing, accounting operations and reporting. We’re looking for a motivated, well-organized, and experienced individual with knowledge of payroll processes who are interested in growth in the international environment.
A Junior Global Payroll Analyst supports accurate, timely end-to-end payroll processing for multiple international locations. They validate data, resolve discrepancies, support compliance with local statutory regulations, and coordinate with vendors. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel.
- Payroll Processing: Support the end-to-end payroll cycle.
- Data Validation: Validate payroll inputs and output reports to ensure accuracy before completing.
- Compliance Support: Assist with maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, as well as statutory regulations in various countries.
- Inquiry Management: Resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal HR, Finance departments, and external payroll vendors to streamline processes.
- Reporting: Prepare, reconcile, and audit payroll records, tax reports, and journals.
Requirements

- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in payroll/HR administration (global/international experience is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience with HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., UKG Pro, OKG One View).
- Skills: Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and ability to manage confidential data.
- Accuracy: High level of meticulousness in processing and auditing figures.
- Communication: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and international stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Capacity to learn new payroll regulations across different jurisdictions.
- Your manager will be Wanda Newcome, Accounting Manager, located in the United States. The Payroll team is part of the larger Accounting team with over 30 team members located in the USA, Cyprus, Czech Republic and India.
