1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Must obtain Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) within twelve (12) months initially from the date course materials are received. If transferring between Endoscopy and Sterile Processing before certification, employees must be certified within the twelve (12) months of the date they initially received their course materials.
3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Successful completion of HSPA course for SPD ENDO assignment.
1. One (1) year of instrumentation, equipment, or endoscopy experience.
Responsibilities
~1 min read1. Must be able to operate computer programs with training such as instrument tracking system and scope cleaning software; able to use necessary departmental/hospital software applications.
2. Must have the ability to follow written and verbal directions.
3. Demonstrates team-centered professional communications with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other customers.
4. Knowledge of infection control principles applicable in hospital setting.
5. Abilities to perform multi-step procedures and prioritize work tasks.
Rotating M-F with On-Call weekends and holiday
