Security Officers help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment throughout Bingham Healthcare.
This position supports hospital security and loss prevention programs, including asset protection, personnel safety, access and key control, emergency preparedness, parking and traffic control, and other safety-related functions.
Security Officers also provide patient transportation and courier services between Bingham Healthcare entities in the Blackfoot area.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Help manage Security Officer coverage schedules and ensure there are no uncovered days
- →Attend Safety Office meetings
- →Complete daily recap reports
- →Communicate areas of concern to management
- →Perform other duties as assigned
- Support hospital security and loss prevention programs
- Help protect patients, visitors, employees, and organizational assets
- Assist with personnel protection and maintaining a secure environment
- Monitor and support access and key control
- Assist with emergency preparedness efforts
- Support hazardous communications and related safety programs
- Provide parking and traffic control as needed
- Provide patient transportation services using designated Bingham Healthcare vehicles
- Provide courier services between Blackfoot-based Bingham Healthcare entities
- Maintain eligibility to participate in the employer vehicle driver pool

Requirements
~1 min read- Must be eligible to participate in the employer vehicle driver pool
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
~1 min read- 1+ year of law enforcement or security experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- Defensive Tactics
- Retention Holds
