Summer Day Camp Inclusion Specialist - Woburn

The Inclusion Specialist – Camp Nansema is a position that supports the work of the North Suburban YMCA, an organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the supervision of the Camp Director, the inclusion specialist collaborates with the Directors, Specialists, and Counselors at the YMCA camps and families to identify and support children who may need special and individualized assistance. The Inclusion Specialist focuses on the children and families within North Suburban Camps to provide direct support, concrete strategies and tools to counselors and specialists and serves as a resource for children who need more one-on-one assistance throughout their day. Preferred characteristics include compassion and open-mindedness, flexibility, and a passion for working with children and families, both independently and in a team environment.
