Summer Day Camp Lifeguard

Position Type: Seasonal

Locations: Camp Ponkapoag (Canton) and Menino YMCA (Hyde Park)

Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director and Camp Director respectively, the Aquatics Camp staff is responsible for guarding the pool, ensuring the safety of all campers and staff, enforcing pool rules, and implementing the Y’s site-specific Emergency Action Plan (EAP) as needed. This position may be combined with other positions, in particular, Camp Counselor and/or Swim Lesson Instructor.
