Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).

Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
You have knowledge and experience in teaching gymnastics and or/ years of personal gymnastics experience.

You are able to demonstrate a friendly, courteous, and professional manner while working with members, parents, and staff.
You have a positive attitude and previous experience with youth and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

→Prepare lesson plans with a natural progression appropriate to the age and ability of the gymnast.
→Instruct gymnasts in a safe and fun manner
→Outline class lesson plans to keep children moving
→Enforce all safety rules and regulations in the gymnastics gym.
→Finish each class with a fun group activity.
→Incorporate and discuss the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility
