Youth Cheer Coach - Houston Metro (1x per week)

--Training Starts Upon Hire, 1 evening per week, super convenient

ACTIVSTARS is seeking an enthusiastic Cheer Coach who is excited to work with young athletes and bring their cheer experience back into action.

• Has previous cheerleading and/or coaching experience
• Enjoys working with children ages 4–15
• Is positive, energetic, and can serve as a strong role model
• Is at least 18 years old
• Has reliable transportation

• Part-time, one consistent evening per week (for example: every Tuesday evening)
• Coach three age groups (teams) in cheer basics, cheer dance, and pom routines
• Participate in three to four paid weekend events per semester (dates provided in advance)

• →Preparing lesson plans and running weekly practices
• →Teaching skills safely and effectively
• →Choreographing routines and performance cheers
• →Introducing basic stunting fundamentals
• →Managing attendance and simple records
