About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a commercially minded lawyer to join our global Legal and Compliance team as Legal Business Partner for EMEA. You will work closely with our commercial, partnerships, and operations teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, providing practical legal support that enables the business to move forward with confidence. At Yuno, Legal and Compliance operate as business partners, and you will count on the support and playbooks of the global team. The role is remote and can be based anywhere in the region.

Business partnering: Serve as the primary legal counterpart for the EMEA commercial, partnerships, and operations teams, providing pragmatic, business-oriented advice.

Contract negotiation and drafting: Negotiate and draft merchant, partner, and vendor agreements across the region, applying and helping improve our global contracting playbooks.

Regulatory support: Advise the business on payments regulation and data protection across the region, in coordination with the global Legal and Compliance team, and help maintain Yuno’s positioning as a technology orchestration layer that does not hold funds.

Corporate and entity support: Support the corporate maintenance of Yuno’s entities in the region, working with the global team, outside counsel, and corporate service providers.

Growth and expansion: Provide legal guidance on new markets, new products, and strategic partnerships as Yuno continues to grow across the region.
Requirements

Law degree and qualification in at least one jurisdiction within the region.

6-8 years of experience across law firm and in-house roles; payments, fintech, or technology experience strongly preferred.

Strong commercial contracts and negotiation skills; familiarity with European payments regulation and GDPR, with Middle East or Asia exposure a plus.

A business enablement mindset: a practical approach to risk and the ability to deliver clear, actionable advice.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, working across time zones with a globally distributed team.

Fluency in English; other regional languages are a plus.
