We're looking for a VP of Sales & Business Development to lead our commercial expansion and build out our sales team across North America. This role sits at the center of Yuno's growth in the region. You will lead a team that owns the full sales cycle with enterprise merchants, from first contact to closed deal and successful onboarding.
The payments landscape in North America is evolving at an extraordinary pace. You will need to stay ahead of it, constantly researching the market, identifying where real opportunities exist for Yuno's payment infrastructure, and building strategies that convert insight into pipeline. At Yuno, we don't settle for average results. We expect people who set ambitious targets, for themselves and for their team, and then find a way to exceed them, even when the path isn't straightforward.
This role sits at the intersection of sales leadership, relationship-building, and market intelligence. You will hire, coach, and grow a high-performing team, while working closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience to ensure every client interaction is consistent, informed, and built for the long term. Collaboration across functions isn't a nice-to-have here — it's how complex enterprise deals actually get done. You will also be expected to bring client and market feedback directly into the product conversation, helping shape what we build based on what our clients truly need.
As VP of Sales & Business Development, you'll work directly with senior leadership to shape how Yuno positions itself with the region's most important merchants and partners. The deals your team closes and the alliances you build will directly influence Yuno's trajectory in one of the world's most dynamic payments markets.

- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales team across North America
- Own the full sales cycle strategy across the region, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closing and merchant onboarding
- Identify and target enterprise merchants across the region that can benefit from Yuno's payment solutions
- Develop relationships with C-suite and VP-level decision makers at major companies across the region
- Develop tailored engagement and go-to-market strategies for high-value prospects
- Lead complex negotiations with enterprise clients, focusing on long-term, mutually beneficial agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic industry partners
- Set clear targets for the team, tracking performance and coaching for growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, and Customer Experience to ensure a cohesive commercial strategy
- Gather and channel client feedback to inform Yuno's product and service development
- Represent Yuno at industry events and forums as a credible voice in payments
Requirements

- +10 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or similar roles within B2B payments, fintech, or a related industry
- Proven experience building, leading, and scaling sales teams
- Demonstrable sales track record, particularly in enterprise and cross-cultural contexts
- Strong knowledge of the North American market and its payment ecosystem dynamics
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and MS Office suite
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
