We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fresh Chartered Accountant (CA) (upto one year of experience is also preferred) to join our Finance team. The incumbent will play a key role in managing Accounts Receivable, supporting Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting, monitoring project financials, and coordinating customer collections. This role provides excellent exposure to project accounting, revenue recognition, working capital management, and financial reporting in a multinational engineering and manufacturing environment.

  • Manage customer invoicing and monitor outstanding receivables.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely recording and allocation of customer receipts.
  • Review aging reports and identify overdue balances.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice-related issues.
  • Follow up with customers for timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, and Customers to resolve payment-related concerns.
  • Prepare collection status reports and escalation summaries.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overall cash flow.
  • Assist in revenue recognition under the Percentage of Completion (POC) method in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Support monthly project cost reviews, revenue calculations, and project profitability analysis.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Finance teams to validate project progress and cost estimates.
  • Maintain project financial schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end project accounting activities.
  • Support monthly closing activities related to receivables and project accounting.
  • Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
  • Assist during statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reviews.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the Finance function.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) - Freshly Qualified up to one year of experience.
  • Strong academic background with sound knowledge of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition principles and project accounting concepts is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis).
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as Sage X3 or similar is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical aptitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced multinational environment.
