Senior Expo Developer (React Native)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Expo Developer who can deliver high-quality React Native applications with exceptional speed and efficiency. The ideal candidate will lead the development of a design-heavy mobile application using a hybrid approach combining AI tools and traditional development methods.

  Architect and implement a React Native application using Expo framework, ensuring cross-platform compatibility

  Translate complex Figma designs into performant React Native components

  Establish development patterns that optimize for speed without compromising code quality

  Set up and maintain the development infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines

  Make strategic decisions about using AI tools vs. manual development for different components

• 5+ years of experience with React/React Native development

• 3+ years of experience specifically with Expo framework

• Deep understanding of React Native performance optimization techniques

• Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+)

• Experience with design system implementation and component libraries

• Proficiency in TypeScript

• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, MobX, or similar)

• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and best practices

• History of delivering projects significantly faster than typical development timelines

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and ability to effectively integrate them into workflow

• Track record of converting complex Figma designs into production-ready mobile applications

• Experience with Expo's managed workflow and EAS (Expo Application Services)

• Knowledge of App Store and Play Store deployment processes

• Experience with builder.io, V0 (formerly Magic), or similar AI code generation tools

• Knowledge of animations and complex UI interactions in React Native

• Experience with backend integration and API design

• Familiarity with native module development

• Understanding of app performance profiling and optimization
