Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the doctor fee calculation process, including compilation, accuracy verification, and monthly doctor fee report preparation;
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, reconciliations and reporting related to Doctor cost are processed accurately and on time;
• Assist in preparing management reports and provide explanation of drivers of variance;
• Assist in Professional fee system implementation projects;
• Handle and respond to doctors and clinic inquiries timely and take necessary actions to follow up; and
• Engage in ad hoc assignments and other projects/duties assigned by supervisor(s) 

Job Requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines
• At least 3 years’ working experience in auditing and/or accounting preferably in hospital/healthcare/ hotel industry
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Accounting Officer 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge of PowerQuery or SQL would be a big advantage

Appointment will be made on a 3-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
