Senior Accountant- Oracle Cloud  

Location: Pune, India 

Work Mode- Hybrid 

Job Description: - 

Oracle Cloud System Expertise 
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Cloud Financials (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, Projects, ARCS, EPM) 
• Support and enhance system functionality to unlock improved business outcomes 
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize configurations, and collaborate with IT, system administrators, and system implementor 
• Maintain and improve system documentation, controls, and workflows 
Process Automation & Continuous Improvement 
• Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting processes using Oracle Cloud tools (e.g., agentic AI, dashboards, rules, integrations) 
• Design and implement scalable, efficient processes to reduce cycle time and minimize errors 
• Drive standardization and best practices across accounting operations 
• Partner cross-functionally to streamline data flows and reporting 
Project & Transformation Support 
• Support system implementation, upgrades, or enhancement projects 
• Assist with data validation, testing (UAT), and process redesign during system changes 
• Provide training and guidance to team members on new tools and processes 
 

Qualifications Required 
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 
• 4–8+ years of progressive accounting experience 
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials (Fusion) 
• Direct involvement in an ERP migration to a cloud-based Oracle system 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) 
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools 
Preferred 
• Experience with system integrations, reporting tools (e.g., Smart View, FDI, and BI Tools), or automation tools (Alteryx) 
• Background in process improvement methodologies
