General Service Technician Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, fluid services, battery replacement, and preventative maintenance

Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
→
Complete vehicle inspections and basic automotive services
→
Maintain shop cleanliness and follow safety procedures

Automotive Repair Technician C Responsibilities

→
Perform brake, suspension, and steering repairs
→
Complete wheel alignments and diagnostic support
→
Perform tire repair and maintenance services

Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards

Properly maintain tools and equipment

Requirements

General Service Technician

Basic automotive knowledge required
Prior automotive maintenance experience preferred
Ability to learn and grow technical skills

Automotive Repair Technician C

Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience
Ability to perform standard automotive repairs independently
ASE certifications in Brakes and/or Suspension & Steering preferred (or willingness to obtain within 12 months — paid by AAA

Additional Requirements for Joining AAA Tire & Auto Service:

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including background check, drug screening, and fitness for duty assessment
Authorized to work in the United States
