Travel is required to provide staffing coverage across multiple clinic locations within our market. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility to adjust schedules based on clinic needs, patient volume, or staffing gaps is required.

Fit and educate patients on orthopedic devices and DME per provider orders, ensuring proper sizing, comfort, and understanding of usage, care, and expected outcomes.

Apply and remove casts and splints as directed by providers, while maintaining cast room readiness and ensuring adequate inventory of supplies.

Leverage Epic and third-party DME software (e.g., MotionMD) to manage daily operations, verify benefits, initiate pre-authorizations, and collect patient financial responsibilities.

Document all services and measurements, including payer-required forms (e.g., ABNs, FRNs), to ensure compliance with billing and insurance regulations.

Support inventory management and audit activities in collaboration with the DME Coordinator, and promptly report equipment issues or shortages to leadership.

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, providers, clinical staff, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless and high-quality care delivery.

Ensure timely and accurate documentation in alignment with clinical, operational, and regulatory standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of orthopedic and DME services, adapting to evolving patient and departmental needs.

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
