This position works out of our Plymouth, MN location for our Electrophysiology medical device business. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance, including repairs, installations, modifications, and safety checks on production equipment
Documenting maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Troubleshooting and repairing a broad range of industrial production equipment
Maintaining, tracking, and supporting inventory for equipment and related components
Working with tools such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters, gauge pins, and other precision instruments
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve equipment performance
Utilizing systems and software including Microsoft Office, SAP, Windchill, and Infor EAM (CMMS)
Requirements

5+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance or automation environment
Hands-on experience with industrial electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment
Strong understanding of maintenance terminology, tools, and processes
Ability to follow verbal and written procedures with accuracy
Basic computer proficiency and experience working with maintenance software systems
