The Social Insights Strategist is part analyst, part creative problem solver – and a critical driver of our content creation process. This role ensures that every piece of content starts with insights, using data, social listening and cultural intelligence to shape what we create, why it matters, and how it performs. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of digital and social analytics, paired with the ability to go beyond simply reporting to translating data into compelling stories that drive action.

You’ll lead the charge in uncovering trends, universal truths and audience behaviors within our communities – then partner closely with content creators to translate those insights into content strategies and executions that drive relevancy and performance of our content and storytelling. This role will be a hands-on, embedded partner in the creative process and work side-by-side with our content team to activate insights in real time, influencing ideation, messaging and optimization across channels.

The role also extends to social listening for all reactive and proactive listening – identifying conversation themes, flagging emerging issues and spotting social and cultural trends. As a key player, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with our enterprise digital teams to implement best practices in social listening for issues management and conversation insights.

This role is part of the Content team, a group within Abbott’s global marketing and external affairs team. The ideal candidate is motivated and proactive, with a passion for insights-driven marketing, a hunger for problem solving, and an analytical mindset. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues to create effective solutions and are able to step up to push projects forward.
