Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Lays out and assembles experimental circuitry and/or complete prototype models of company products
- →and product components. Recommends changes in circuitry and/or other specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
- →Prepares diagnostic tests, sets up test apparatus, and conducts operational/functional tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of prototype items.
- →May assist in the design, construction, test and checkout of complex test equipment and the development of test procedures.
- →Analyzes and interprets test data.
- →Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.
- →Prepares technical reports with supporting graphic and schematic documentation to describe and illustrate unit operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.
- →Troubleshoots and debugs production item assemblies, sub-assemblies, and system to isolate faults.
- →Determines remedies for malfunctions, and repairs products using established procedures.
- →Troubleshoots test failures, field returns, and retrofits.
- →Provides leadership and mentoring to less experienced technical personnel.
- →Recommends improvements on productivity and work environment.
- →Ensures that lab safety and operating procedures are observed by all personnel.
- →Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management
- →Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
- →Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements,
- →Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and
- →cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Requirements
~1 min read- Technical Diploma (± 12 years) or an equivalent amount of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
