Technical Tools

Develop software for advanced spatial analysis and vector manipulation in PostgreSQL
Develop software for time-series analysis of satellite imagery and the use of machine learning in the classification of satellite data sources
Actively participate in designing software architecture and propose optimizations for existing applications
Work on open-source components

Knowledge and experience using PostgreSQL and spatial functions
Experience working with procedural languages, preferably PL/pgSQL
Advanced use and server administration of the GNU/Linux operating system
Familiarity with Python modules such as pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, Jupyter, and Matplotlib
Knowledge of basic machine learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., Random Forest, etc.)
