Access Healthcare Associates (AHA), in partnership with Brigade Health, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to support the behavioral health needs of older adults in assisted living, memory care, and senior living communities. Since 2007, AHA has been a pioneer in mobile senior-focused healthcare throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care directly to seniors where they live. This unique consultative role focuses on collaboration, education, and improving behavioral health outcomes for senior populations without the burden of managing a traditional high-volume patient panel.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide psychiatric consultation and support to NP and PA providers managing complex behavioral health cases.
- →Offer guidance on psychotropic medication management, dementia-related behaviors, depression, anxiety, and care escalation.
- →Lead biweekly case reviews, interdisciplinary discussions, and educational sessions.
- →Collaborate with assisted living communities, caregivers, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- →Contribute to program development, quality initiatives, and clinical leadership opportunities.
Requirements
~1 min read- MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active, unrestricted medical license.
- Experience working with geriatric populations, dementia care, assisted living, memory care, or senior behavioral health preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and clinical leadership skills.
