The Position:

Acme Industries in Elk Grove Village is seeking a Drain & Clean associate who will help ensure that our fleet of valuable CNC machines are maintained properly. Your primary role will be to drain, clean, and replace coolant. This will require you to have the ability to disassemble and assemble machine parts. This job supports our maintenance and production departments to ensure that our machines are kept running smoothly and cleanly. The ideal candidate is not afraid to get dirty, and responsible enough to keep our operations running smoothly. Availability of working overtime is required. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, 4:20pm-2:50am with full benefits package including immediate health, dental and vision coverage. Hourly Pay Range: $23.00-$26.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Job Duties:

• Perform scheduled machine draining and replacing coolant.
• Clean all coolant tanks while performing drain and clean.
• Clean all machines from chips and any other debris.
• Test coolant concentrations levels and make sure they are in spec.
• Maintain coolant recycling system.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

The Right Person/What we need from you:

• Read and interpret work instructions
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours at a time
• Ability to utilize hand tools, operate overhead crane, lift, and move objects up to 50lbs consistently with occasional heavier weights periodically
• Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Should be able to read and write English
