Summary
The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the property's interior and exterior common areas. This role ensures that the grounds are clean, safe, and presentable for residents and visitors. Additionally, the Porter will support the Front Desk team by covering breaks as needed and managing and logging resident packages. 
 
Action Property Management seeks a full-time Porter to join our team at Perla on Broadway in Los Angeles, CA.
 
Compensation: $21 
 
Schedule: Saturday–Sunday: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM | Monday–Wednesday: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM | Thursday–Friday: Off
 
 
 
  • Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the exterior grounds, including walkways, courtyards, parking areas, entrances, and other outdoor spaces.
  • Remove litter, debris, and trash from common areas, ensuring proper disposal.
  • Maintain and clean outdoor furniture, fixtures, and common areas such as patios, pool decks, and recreational spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of cleaning and maintenance equipment.
  • Help set up and break down outdoor areas for community events when needed.
  • Review emails and receive shift pass-down from the outgoing porter.
  • Check for reservations, move-ins, move-outs, and events requiring inspections.
  • Conduct daily building inspections from the rooftop down to the first floor.
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns, misplaced items, cleanliness issues, and work order needs.
  • Monitor all common areas and parking structures throughout the property.
  • Assist the Front Desk team by:
    • Covering breaks when needed.
    • Managing and logging resident packages into the package system.
    • Maintain a visible presence throughout the property to ensure cleanliness and operational standards.
  •  
  • Relevant experience in janitorial, porter, or maintenance preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
